The Kitchen at Atomic

About This Project

The Kitchen at Atomic is a Downtown brunch hotspot serving creative, seasonally inspired pub fare. For this project, we took this old auto shop, ripped it down to basically nothing, and started over with a clean shell. This building should have been torn down and re-built, but due to the historical value (the movie Casino was shot there), we just had to save this place. We put in steel beam and sheer walls, and we were even able to keep the original windows that the movie was shot through. Another unique aspect of this project, the exterior walls look like CMU walls, but they’re actually made from wood panelling and stucco.
